We were so honored to be a part of the Indiana Humanities’ Waterways Film Tour premiere night. Hellbender in the Blue was selected to be a part of the Waterways Film Tour, and we could not be more excited! This starting event of the Indiana Waterways Tour gave folks the opportunity to get the first peek of the six films selected for the tour taking place in nine cities across the state. It also gave us filmmakers a chance to chat with other filmmakers and community members passionate about the health and wellbeing of our wonderful state.
It was so great to catch up with Samuel Love and Raymar Brunson who created Calumet: The Region's River and talk about capturing stories found right in your community. Follow their great work on Instagram here and here.
We also had the opportunity to spend time with the Indiana Humanities team and put some faces to the emails we've received during the grant cycle over the past year and a half.
So who were the other filmmakers? Glad you asked. Here are the other five amazing films selected for the Waterways Tour. Check out these films as well as their creators.
Cast Out - Will Wertz
Calumet: The Region’s River - Samuel Love and Raymar Brunson
Land Val-ues - Johnny Klemme and Ben Massie
